SV	Het geschiedde nu in het vierde jaar van den koning Hizkia (hetwelk was het zevende jaar van Hosea, den zoon van Ela, den koning van Israel) dat Salmaneser, de koning van Assyrie, opkwam tegen Samaria, en haar belegerde.
WLC	וַֽיְהִ֞י בַּשָּׁנָ֤ה הָֽרְבִיעִית֙ לַמֶּ֣לֶךְ חִזְקִיָּ֔הוּ הִ֚יא הַשָּׁנָ֣ה הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔ית לְהֹושֵׁ֥עַ בֶּן־אֵלָ֖ה מֶ֣לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל עָלָ֞ה שַׁלְמַנְאֶ֧סֶר מֶֽלֶךְ־אַשּׁ֛וּר עַל־שֹׁמְרֹ֖ון וַיָּ֥צַר עָלֶֽיהָ׃
Trans.	wayəhî baššānâ hārəḇî‘îṯ lammeleḵə ḥizəqîyâû hî’ haššānâ haššəḇî‘îṯ ləhwōšē‘a ben-’ēlâ meleḵə yiśərā’ēl ‘ālâ šaləmanə’eser meleḵə-’aššûr ‘al-šōmərwōn wayyāṣar ‘āleyhā:

AC	ט ויהי בשנה הרביעית למלך חזקיהו--היא השנה השביעית להושע בן אלה מלך ישראל עלה שלמנאסר מלך אשור על שמרון--ויצר עליה
ASV	And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria, and besieged it.
BE	Now in the fourth year of King Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea, son of Elah, king of Israel, Shalmaneser, king of Assyria, came up against Samaria, shutting it in with his armies.
